Our Friday 7-27-12 trip was an excellent day on the water . Chuck's group managed a hearty cooler of 23 walleyes that averaged 6.5 lbs each . A wonderful day with excellent company on our vessel . 1-3 foot waves made for an excellent bite .
Our Saturday trip 7-28-12with was a bumpy one with Randy's group of 4 ( One person not pictured ) . We were greeted by lake Erie with a calm lake and a 26MPH run to the Walleye picking grounds. Immediately after setting lines thunderstorms loomed a mile north of our position and the rain had started . The lake quickly built to 4-6 foot waves and graciously a steady bite persisted from the eyes . A great day for the deteriorating weather conditions with 20 fish in the cooler and only two lost at the back of the boat . Thanks fellas a fine group of gentlemen with only one sea sickness casualty on the roughest lake we've experienced this year .
Friday July 13th was an excellent day on the water . 17 Walleye and 4 steel head were pulled over the rail ; including a large specimen 12 lb chromer in ( 1 - 3 Ft waves ) ! A fine job done by James and Chris keeping the program down . The video below is of a 12lb steel head watch in the 5th second of the video the fish leaping out of the water 250 ft behind the boat .
Sunday July 15th Bill , Shane & the boys had an excellent day on the water . The early perch bite was slowed by looming thunderstorms a few miles off . After the bad weather passed we headed out to setup on the walleye around 10 AM . Another 17 walleye and 2 steel head were brought onto the deck . Only three other boats were observed from 10pm till the end of day 8 miles off shore and surprisingly the waves weren't as bad as I had thought ( 1-3 ft) . No complaints by myself or our crew as we took the best of the day from what mother nature gave us .
We had a great start to the season this past weekend picking on migratory Lake Erie Walleyes . On Saturday 6-23 Terry's group hit 21 nice fish between 3 and 9.5lbs on a full 8hour trip . Five of the fish measured between 28 and 30 inches .
Sunday June 24th Kim's belated Fathers day group hit 16 nice Walleye on a half day 4 hour tour . Again 5 of their fish measured over 28 inches . Some beautiful fish have been coming aboard . Although I haven't fish for perch lately there is a tremendous bite going on right now . Reports of 6 man limits have been common . Tight lines Captain Don

Joe's group from West Virginia experienced a good early June bite 13 Walleyes were brought into the boat with the largest being a 9lb beast . A bonus catfish and plenty of other incidental catches were had ; including a 4.5 lb small mouth bass . An enjoyable day on the water for all and great weather conditions .
6/8
Perch bite has been below average we did 2 limits in 2.5 hours and trolled for a couple bonus Walleye.
9/1/11
Took a perch trip to 50 FOW out of Conneaut Harbor , OH for a spanking of some perch . 120 bit the dust in about two hours time . My thanks to Dave Blend & company for coming aboard .
9/2/11
Teamed up with a few good friends for a meat run of Walleye . 19 Walleye met their demise from down riggers , dipsey program , 5 color LC's w 4 ounces , and bagley bango-o's .
9/3/11
Andy's group from Franklin , PA had an excellent experience on a flat September lake with 12 Walleyes hitting the ice on a full day run . Thanks again Andy , JT , Gary , Russ , & Brian for the first rate company : ) Most action came on big boards , 5 color LC's , 4 ounces , and bango-s once again . See pic of a blue phase walleye a beautiful rare site .
9/5/11 Cancelled due to 8 foot waves .
8-27-11 Saturday
Tyler's group from Waynesburg , PA whacked the eyes on the same line as yesterday . 25 Walleyes ( 4 limits plus
1 ) boxed by days end one fish was 28 inches and 8.5 lbs . Another calm August Lake and what a beauty she was . Perfect sun tan weather and the Walleye blood on the boat ( from these two days ) will prove to be a tough scrub for the captain .
The down rigger with bomber long A's , Big Dipsey's with Renoskies , and board lines with 5 color lead cores tipped with Bagley's Bango's punched the tickets .The poor crew reeled in atleast 60 fresh water drum ; along with the Walleye and some others . They must have ate their spinach due to the fact everyone's forearms looked like popeye's at days end . Thanks for the great company and memories this week to all that were aboard .... It doesn't get ANY better than this : ) <>< <>< <><
8-28 Sunday
Had to reschedule due to 5-8 foot waves & 40 MPH north winds .
Feeling humbled from the previous day's lack luster performance ; we headed to the exact same spot from the previous day and confirmed what the fish finder had found on Thursday . 23 Walleyes boxed by Tom , his son Zack ( from Philadelphia , PA ) , Dan , and James . 24 would have been boxed if my first mate knew how to use a click counter LOL . Great day with awesome company and an August "pancake" lake .
Kory & family from Youngstown , OH had a great day on Lake Erie Walleye trolling for deeply staged fish . 18 fish were brought into the boat by days end with the largest being over 9lbs . The day started out in 1-3ft waves and quickly diminished to a glass lake . Great company and good fishing .
As of late I have been on Lake Erie daily . Either for tournaments , charters , or fishing with friends.
8/2 Fished with my good friend Paul & family . We whacked 30 eyes by 11 AM out of Conneaut , OH .
8/5 Charter for Perch & Walleye with Wade Nestor & family . It was a treat to watch the boys in action smokin some Perch : ) We finished the day with 60 Perch and 11 nice football sized eyes .
8/6 First day of the EPSFA tourney with my buddy Capt. John Krasa & Tell No Tales Charters we boated 26 fish , 24 being Walleye , 2 steel head ( one weighing 11 lbs ) see video footage from tourney below . We weighed our largest 12 fish for the day with a total weight of 92.1 LBS and were in second place .
8/7 Day two of the EPSFA tourney we were humbled by the lake only bringing in 6 of the 12 fish needed to place high in the tourney and sealed the deal for a 19th place finish . We had an excellent crew that fished through the thunder storms and 6-8 foot waves . We could not locate actively feeding fish . Congratulations to team Wolfman and their $5000.00 + prize earnings .
8/8 Pete's group came aboard for some perch fishing . 100 perch boxed by 11:00am and then the bite shutdown . A nice cooler was had with plenty of jumbos .
8/9 My Virginia and Bridgeville , PA group took a Walleye charter out of Walnut Access , PA in tough conditions we had 5 Walleyes boxed two of which weighed in at a hefty 10lb4 ounces and 8lb 2 ounces . Not the quantity we were looking for but we got a couple of beasts . The lake was pushing 4-6 foot waves by days end and made for a rough ride back to dock .
Tight Lines Capt . Don
The day started out of Conneaut , OH in 2-4 foot waves . The hour run out to the picking grounds ( 13 mile run ) was soon found to be well worth the effort . We started trolling East with instant success into the school of fish that were certain to meet their maker . The marks on the screen from Saturday told the tail of things to come our way . Chris's group from Pittsburgh spanked 29 Walleyes in 8 hours of trolling . Five of the fish were over 28 inches between 8 -9 lbs each . When we had finished @ 3:30 PM the lake blew into 4-6 foot waves ( 12 miles off shore ) and made for a 1hour+ ride back to the dock . Everyone concurred the ride was worth the day of catching and what an awesome time we had together with cooperative fish below . My thanks goes out to a helpful crew , my first mate James , and the folks that helped us at the harbor ( Ghost Whisper ) . Tight lines Capt. Don
